removing plastic cover theater seating foot rest

Our 2017 355MBQS came with the theater seating, the foot rests have a plastic on them that advertise the manufacturer. I was looking to remove the plastic thinking it was just a protector while the camper was on the lot. It appears the plastic is sewn in with the fabric though. I wouldn't mind the plastic if it wasn't for the advertisement. How has everyone else removed this? Or have you removed it?

I have it on my 2018 as well. It is stitched into the foot rest. I'm leaving it alone.

I haven't removed it either although i have considered just cutting it off.

I hate the way it feels on my legs, so I've been trying to figure out out to get rid of it without ripping the stitching. It makes no sense that they would permanently stitch it in.
