Repair or replace theater seating

I recently purchased a used 2015 Jayco Pinacle 38FLSA. It is in great shape with the exception of the backs of the reclining theater seating. Both seat backs are showing wear on upper head rest area. Fabric is the original vinyl/fau-leather. My question is has anyone had any experience in getting these type furniture pieces reupholstered. All other furniture is in great condition. Really would like to get this repaired or replaced.

My son-in-law has an upholstery/custom furniture shop. When folks bring him stuff to reupholster he says 9 times out of 10 he tells them it will be cheaper to buy new, unless it is a valued piece that the customer has a desire to keep. We had the same issue a few years ago in our fifth wheel and he said the same thing to us. We found a Laz-Y-Boy couch and love seat with removable backs so we could get them in the door. They have been great but finding something with right measurements was a challenge.

Look at www.recpro.com . They have a variety of RV furniture, likely similar to what you have installed. That will give you info by which you can make a decision. Just an option.

Thanks for the information. I think replacement is the way to go but I just want to make sure I can match the new piece to the existing furniture. All the rest is like brand new.

Personally, I would live with them for a few trips. See if you like them or not. If not, then it is an easy decision buy new, of a different style. If you like them, consider replacements. But you might be able to get an upholstery shop to fix them up, and they can get similar material, but would recommend all new upholstery.
