Replace a couch for two recliners

I have a 2015 Pinnacle FLFS with two couches in the living area. Does anyone know if I can remove one of the couches and replace it with two recliners.

Welcome to the forum.

Is this a unit you have at home and you are asking if there is enough room to make that change?

Not a unit from the house. I have seen some RV type recliners and even some Jayco rear living that have recliners.

We replaced the sofa sleeper in our Eagle with a nice leather reclining love seat.

That sounds like what we are wanting to do. Having two couches is not as comfortable as we would like. Was the love seat one like you would buy for your home or was it one designed to fit in an RV?

We bought it in a regular furniture store in North Fort Myers, FL. I believe it was made by Best Furniture and is a standard home item. The backs remove to make it easier to get inside. It is a bit shorter than the sofa we replaced so we have a bit more room at our dinette.

Lazy Boy's

We replaced our sofa in our Eagle, with 2 Apartment size Lazy Boys' from the LB store. Very comfortable, better than the sofa. Backs come off for easy entry.

Happy re-model & ready for camping.

I don't think that is possible with the FLFS due to the couch's being built into the slideouts . If you pull a couch there will be a raised platform that is the bottom of the slideout it will not be flush with the floor..

Did you bolt it to the floor?

in our 2015 eagle we have sofa on one side and recliners on the table side ... glad we went that way instead of 2 couches I would check how couch is mounted or if it is on a separate platform from the floor as mike said before I did anything ... ours sit on the carpeted floor of the slide

No we did not. Neither was the original. Across from the couch we have two leather Poang chairs with footrests from IKEA. We did not care for the original furniture that came with the trailer.

I would love to add some comfortable seating to my RV. We have a 28 ft Greyhawk with a barrel chair and a dinette. Threre is no comfortable seating area when we are together. It my one regret with our RV. My daughter actually sleeps on the converted dinette, so we'd need something that converts to a bed. Any ideas? http://cuontheroad.net/choosing-bess...-c-rv-for-now/

Been looking for months to do the same thing. Haven't found a solution yet. Hopefully someone will find one. DW and I really want a reclining love seat to replace ours too.

Looks like ArmyColonel has the same unit as we do. Thanks for everyone's input, but I'm afraid the platform under the existing couch will be the biggest problem.

This company sells quality furniture for RVs BUT, they are not cheap. The biggest difference I see is that the depth diminsions of their recliners and reclining loveseats are less, enabling them to fit a little better into the slideout area. They also have "wall huggers" which is really important.

Thanks for the lead, but was on the phone with Bradd and Hall today and due to the height of the slide-out base (6"), they have no reclining solution.

They offered to retrofit it with another sofa that is more comfortable and would convert to a bed, but does not recline.

I think we'll end up sticking with what we have for now...maybe add another ottoman. When we're in the market for our next rig, we'll definitely be adding this to the decision making.
