Replace Television

I would like to replace the old TV in my 2003 Legacy. I can not figure out how to get the wooden locking bar to let it go. Does anyone know how to release the tv?

Mine is not a legacy, but it has a knob on the front that you pull to bring the TV out enough to get behind it and undue a aluminum strap that holds it in. I replaced both of my TV's with HDTV Flat Screen TV's. Some tv's have a wooden bar that has a couple of wooden buttons that Hide the screws that holds a wooden bar in place. Most of the buttons will come out using a thin bladed knife to pry them out with. Then you can get at the screws to undue the bar. Dont know if yours is set up that way or not. best of luck hope it works for you.
