Replacing axles

17 eagle ht 29.5bhds came standard with lippert 4400#. I bent back one the weight limits didn’t leave much room. I just ordered 2 complete dexter 5200# axles complete with springs hubs etc. what else should I consider replacing while they are off. I have morryde cre 3000 I’m going to upgrade to wet bolt kit. Also moving down to the bottom spring hole should raise it by inch or so( I drag backing in the driveway) any help tips opinions etc greatly appreciated. Thank you

Do your new axles come with new brakes? If not, look at new brake components.

I would pull the bearings and check how well they are greased.

They do it wasn’t much more I think $185 for both full hub assembly brakes springs etc. I just got the complete bc I would spend that in time money changing the brakes and pulling all the old stuff off

VaCamper, CRE 3000 is a great set-up just a remainder. When you have the wet bolt installed, ensure they place the grease zerks facing inwards, away from the tires. Otherwise, the zerks are too close and you will not be able to get a grease gun on them. You should be very happy once you have this setup completed. SKIDAWG

VaCamper, sorry, just noticed the PM. I believe you have everything covered. The Wet Bolts will go in the CRE 3000 like a glove. you will really enjoy the setup. SKI
