Replacing the kitchen water filter

It's time to replace my under counter kitchen water filter. I know many do not use and by-pass it.

Has anyone found a convenient local supplier for this little filter?

You might be able to use a Culligan 600A RV inline filter instead. I have not checked dimensions or compared to the stock units filter ratings but the connections are hose connections which would work. Most inlines use the 1/4 tubing like ice makers.
Most online RV suppliers carry them.

Norty, what happened to your idea of replacing it with an accumulator tank? You have me convinced that this is the way to go, although on my 2012 my filter is located behind the docking station in the basement. I would still like to put a drinking water filter and separate spigot in the kitchen tho.

I am going to do that but until then, I have contaminated the filter with pink stuff from the winterizing. BTW, don't forget to take the filter out before pumping the antifreeze in.

If I can't find one, I will just leave it bypassed till we get back.

I have a separate outside filter that all incoming water goes thru first anyhow.
