Reprogramming Universal Remote

I have asked this on other threads but cannot get or find an answer. I just reprogrammed the remote but I am doubting that it has anything to do with the receiver. I do not want anyone to have access to our RV with their remote. I am fairly confident that after I access the remote I can go to any Jayco and start moving the slides and jacks. Am I correct in my thinking or is their any way to reprogram the receiver?

I have the Linc controller which looks like a small smartphone. When you program it you actually have to go to the controller board and push a button to sync it with that remote. You also have to do a separate sync with the leveling system. My guess is that remote will only control the unit that it has been synced with.
