Res fridge and inverter

Can you leave the inverter power on and still be plugged into campground shore power? in the event of a lose of power I would like to know if the inverter will kick on and and keep the fridge working?

Leave it on all the time.
It will kick on without missing a beat.
If it was hooked to your tv the tv won't even flicker.
