After you take out the screws it has pressure clips that hold it in too you need to pry it a little.

I bet your wire is loose under there, or they didn't get the one wire under the screw terminal good enough.

Don't be afraid to look under that cover.
Again, shut off the power and the battery.
Good to know...I was wondering why the pictures in the manual didn't match what the actual inverter looks like. I didn't realize that Jayco removed the receptacle.

I'll take a peek, just a quick one, but don't tell anyone.

I'll be sure to disconnect all power sources too.
