retractable power cord (automated)

Does anyone know if the power cord on the 50 amp reel has a fuse somewhere?
the reel which is automatic has stopped working. i didn't see a fuse in the main breaker box.

On our 2015 PINNACLE it was connected to the bedroom slide fuse so you need to check all the fuses.

The reel is located in the very rear, right behind the rear slide, it is a pinnacle but all of the slides work.

Thats one of the many issues we ve had with our pinnacle. Dealer said it was bad switch. Replaced it with a heavier one, but i bought a spare just in case.

My pinnacle reel switch also went south. Not impressed with this reel, it has no power to roll up cord. On colder days it barely rolls in hand feeding or pushing it in. On warm days I still have to feed it in.

Rock-I don't mind rolling it by hand, but it doesn't give you anything to grab on. not really designed for a backup plan!!

When mine quit I rolled it around the ladder than used a heavy tie wrap around the plug and ladder step. Worked for a 1500 mile trip no problem

On our 2016 FBTS the fuse for the CO/Propane detector was also for the cord reel. Kinda goofy I think. How did your Jayco factory repair job go Rock?

Well two weeks turned into 5. New roof, new toilets, whole new suspension except axles to fix tire rub, all new trim moldings inside, slide adjusted and Teflon wear pads screwed in place where rollers rub. Fridge not fixed, awning still will not fully close but fabric replaced, generator repaired.
Jayco repairs great, Norcold and lippert tech repairs suck. Replacement outriggers not as good as my temp repairs and even though I noted the hidden outrigger by jack it was not fixed. Windy freezing drizzle day I picked it up and late in day due to flight delay. Next sunny day noticed a big gouge and scrape and dent two feet long in dining slide lower cowling and trim. Jayco said that is how it was. BS day I got there sunny and warm and they looked over the rig and commented how perfect it was. My fault for not noticing but weather was the main factor and closely parked together.. They had to move something by the unit when slide was out since deep gouge stops at slide end. If it was in what ever did this would of scraped to end of Rv. Have not heard squat back. Also in Suncan see scrapes in cowling below baseman’s doors. I did get a new front jack to fix leveling issues. I spent about three grand in flights, car rental,fuel, Rv camp fees and truck at airport for five weeks of parking fees. Never should of took almost five weeks when told two.

I think my 2016 fbts was made just before rocks, I had to have my roof replaced, small awning replaced , cord reel and swith replaced, and a rear led tail light, there were a couple other warrnty issues earlier but I dont remember. Jayco ok'ed my repairs and my dealer fixed all the issues, I also had them install a remote control rain sensing fan in the front bath since the roof was off, my wife is to short to reach it if I am not there, I paid for that ( 300.00). It is all done but still at the dealer, I live in northern wi and told them I would pick it up in spring.

Ya living where u r there is no hurry getting it back from the dealer. The factory is using the fix they did on my tire rub issue for any dealer Repaires. They said it raised my unit two inches higher and they measured it at 13 ft two inch. That is what is listed on a stock unit. If I can find a level pad when towing I will try and remeasure. Is your cord real like mine and you have to help feed it in to wind it up?
