Reverse polarity fuse blowing repeatedly

Every time we plug in to shore power, a reverse polarity fuse blows. Battery cables have positive marked on red cable and that is the way they are hooked up. We have checked the batter shut off. We are getting no charge to the battery. Any clues? We are not electricians so be gentle, please.

The reverse polarity fuse should only blow when you hook the battery up backwards. Go back and make sure the battery is hooked up correctly.
Breakers would trip if there is a problem with shore power.
