Rims max pressure

I have a 2016 339flqs and I decided to go with the Maxxis tire upgrade when I bought it. Does anyone know the max pressure of the rims? I know the Maxxis tires are only 80 psi max.

Rim max pressure usually located on the back side of the wheel.

You'll have to crawl down behind to see...take a flashlight.

I had one blow so I've got the rim off and I see no max pressure rating. Only a max load rating of 3400lbs. Looking at tire options myself but I would think if the new tires are rated to 80 psi as the factory installed ones are then it should be fine. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Sounds like a load range E tire is what is rated for the rim. See these 3 charts comparing max pressure vs LCC: http://www.goodyearrvtires.com/pdfs/rv_inflation.pdf
Some rims have a psi rating, some a LCC rating. Either can be translated to figure if a rim can handle any tire.
Taken from the Goodyear website.

There is a yellow tag on the street side up by the propane door. It tells you what your rims are rated for.

Those pressures are for the TIRES installed on the trailer at the factory. Those stickers do not list the max RIM pressure. They DO list the SIZE of the rim though.

My rims don't even list the max PSI on the rim itself. They do however list a maximum load; I had to translate that back to tires to find out that my rims will handle the 80 PSI of the Maxxis M8008 LR E tires I put on the trailer after my blowmaxes (LR D) almost blew.

The stickers on my trailer are no longer accurate.

Over the years I have run across some rims with their respective ratings located on the "inside" of the rim....., in other words the tire has to be removed to view the stamped rating

I contacted Jayco directly with my VIN. They confirmed the 339FLQS I purchased was factory fit with 80psi rims per the flag on the side of the trailer.

Mine is no longer accurate either since we bought the HP rims and Sailun S637 14ply G rated tires.

The tag on mine says 80 psi also but the rims are rated for 110psi per stamping on the rim. I have a steel spare rim and it has a sticker inside the rim with the air that says 110psi. So I upgraded to G rated tires.

That 80 PSI on the tag on your trailer is still referencing the tire, not the rim.

Is that stamping just on the spare steel rim? Might not be the case for the aluminum rims. There's no stamping of max psi on the aluminum anywhere that I can see. Not even on the inside as I had a tire blow out on me and have visibility on the inside.

As mentioned before, there might not be a "PSI" rating stamped on your wheels, but if not, there should be a "max load". For example (I have aluminum wheels as well), mine says "Max Load" on one branch of a spoke, and "2830 lbs" on the other branch. Translate that to tires in my wheel size and those tire sizes in LR E carry max loads of 2830 lbs at max PSIs of 80. Thus, the wheel must be able to accommodate 80 PSI to be able to accommodate 2830 lbs.
