Rocker light switch

My rocker light switch for living room overhead lights will not budge. It is stuck in off position.
Any ideas??

Can you provide a picture?
If it's a simple switch they can arc enough inside to bind up. It's a pretty simple process to replace with a like switch. EBay Amazon or RV dealer can usually supply.

the top pulls off and exposes a robertson screw. The bottom pulls off to expose another roberstson screw. The robertson screw head is square.


If you don't have a screwdriver for roberson heads, you'll want to add them to your toolbox.
