Roof vent in 28.5RSTS

I have a 2021 28.5RSTS. Am seriously thinking about installing a roof vent in the kitchen/living area. IMO this should be standard equip on the rig. I know many of you might say put the second air conditioner in, and that is still an option. But where I camp dont really have a lot of access to 50 amp. And the second roof vent would fit the bill nicely even if there was 2 AC units.

So for those of you that have done it could you let me know the location and measurements of the hole if you would, that is the distance from sides front etc.
Dont want to be cutting wires, ducts etc,

Thanks

Email Jayco Customer service for a framing diagram on your rig. You send them the VIN number and they send the schematics specific for your build. I got mine a few weeks ago because I have some cabinet work I want to do and wanted to make sure what I'm looking at before I dig in.

i think you'll get more ventilation opening all the windows or a few, than what the roof vent will provide.. Is it really worth the trouble?

After you get the proper location from Jayco watch some HOW TO youtubes. Several on how to install a new RV roof vent, including at least one that cuts the hole and everything after including adding a fan and cover.

Theres another option like I did. My trailer is a 30 amp trailer. We soon learned 1 AC wasnt going to cut it. So I installed a 2nd AC low profile in the bedroom vent hole and I ran its own 20 amp line to the side of the trailer near the garage. So now we plug in like normal and I run a extension cord to the 20 Amp outlet. In essence I have 50 amps of power and 2 AC units without all the messing around trying to redo everything in 50 amp.
