RV Collison Repair Shops

Does or has anyone had problems with collision repair companies having a hard time getting parts pricing from Jayco?

We had a RV totaled once. Took longer to get the parts pricing to figure it out then to get a check and buy a new one

We had our dealer acess and order the parts, the collision repair shop picked them up and installed the parts at their facility.

Was it a Jayco that was totaled? You didn't say.

Was it the dealer you were working with, the insurance company or Jayco or a combination that took so long?

Our's is a Jayco Pinnacle 36FBTS. We are working through our local collision company in St. George, UT. That company is working with Camping World in Draper, UT. We were in a scrape accident on May 27. It's been also most a month now and Red Rock keeps telling me they can't get parts pricing. So frustrating. I might have to make a road trip to a dealer that can fix Jayco 5th wheels.

It was a ToyHualer made by Cruiser RV. Took two weeks to get parts pricing. Labor was back right away. Once I the insurance company had the total I had a check in less than 24hrs.
