RV Furniture

Yech....does anyone else hate the furniture that comes with their RV😳so uncomfortable. Looks nice but totally useless.
Anyway.......what Dish setup do you use? We have ordered a Wally. Is it a DVR? How difficult is it to set up with reasonable skills? Thank you!

Furniture: not too bad but wouldn't want it in my house. It's okay for RV.

Satellite: We have Dish with the Wally for last 4 years. Easy set up in the fiver. Minimal skills required. It is not standard as a DVR but I believe there is an option to add the DVR ability. Fun to have while in RV park when it rains.

Happy RVing,
Jeff

You need to buy an external HD for the Wally in order to record. We have this one and it's flawless. You should be able to get it for less $

I don't think the furniture is that bad in my RV; it's much better then what was in my '78 Prowler. I use my recliners mostly while relaxing inside, but I'm outside the most.

As far as watching the TV I just hook up my phone to the TV and watch movies that I've got on it.

Well, I guess this tired 71 year old body wants soft & squishy the Furrion TV this house comes with isn’t Bluetooth ready, it’s about as analog as it gets and for the price add I could have bought 2, 50” Samsung’s ah, well something to be said for making it your own, right?

Speaking of Furrion TV's, does anyone know how to set a source as a default source?

Mine isn't bluetooth ready either. I used an adapter so I could hook up a cdmi cable to the phone and then movie time.

We replace the main TV with a Samsung. It streams from my phone so we get everything. I have Verizon’s Unlimited plan is streaming isn’t an issue.
The bedroom tv is stock and has an Amazon Firestick plugged into an HDMI. Both work great!

You might add your model and year plus tow vehicle details to get best answers. I hated my mattress at the dealer, got a Zinus 10 inch, best $ spent for a good nights sleep.
