Sanitizing with canister filter

I sanitized the fresh water system with bleach water and forgot to remove the canister filter!! Will this ruin the filter? Anybody know the part number of the filter? Thanks

Personally I would replace the cartridge. It will take a lot of water to flush the bleach out of it. They should be replaced every few months anyways.

It's a standard 10" filter cartridge, but not sure what your unit came with. Our PINNACLE had a Watts Flow-pur cartridge readily available on AMAZON and I would replace it.

Problem with leaving the filter in is you probably removed most of the bleach before it entered your water lines. You should probably resanitize too.

Well.....upon removing the canister filter housing, what to my surprise....no filter!! So problem solved. I found, in the bag of tricks Jayco left me, a MAXETW-975 filter. I sure am happy I was using an inline outside filter at the faucet. Plus a filter in fridge. Thank you all.

I replace the "blue" inline filter every four (4) months or four (4) camping trips, whichever happens first.
