Satellite hookup for multiple TVs and one receiver

All
Just bought a 2021 Pinnacle 36 KPTS.
It has an outside utility compartment with a hookup for satellite. I have direct tv and a winegard automatic portable satellite dish. I have one receiver. How do I hook up the satellite to the camper to get direct tv(I know -all TVs must watch same channel) on all 3 TVs and still work remotes in and out?
Thanks
Tigerpa

Since I am on my IPad it is difficult to cut and paste so go to the “search” block at the top center right of this page and do a search. There are volumes on this topic. Once you have read through some of those you may have some specific questions we can answer.

Someone here may have schematics for your unit but if not Jayco can help with those. Mine is set up with one transmit and two receive HDMI units. “

You will see a nice option many of us use. It is an HDMI wireless transmitter/receiver. You hook up the Direct TV receiver to the wireless transmitter via HDMI and then another HDMI cable goes to the TV. Then you can hook the receiver, via HDMI, to any TV inside or out, and presto.

I use this setup for my bedroom TV. The other thing you will need is an RF remote for the Direct TV receiver. That way you can change channels from the second TV. Note - when changing to a RF remote some Direct TV receivers require an additional antenna dongle that plugs into the back of it. Without the dongle the RF won't work. It all depends on which receiver you have.

Thank you.
I had a Tiffin before the Pinnacle and have experience setting up the Direct Tv box and satellite process.
If I run the satellite coax into the Satellite connection in the wet bay, I can then hook up my one receiver to the Living room tv with the suggestion you made with the wireless hookup etc. will I be able to watch all 3 TVs at the same time with the direct RV reception? I realize all will be on the same channel. I just want to be able to move from outside to inside to bed without having to move boxes etc.

In the search I mentioned another member and I discussed what to do and how to do it. It is pretty detailed including the units I use.

I think you can buy additional receivers for some units. Search Amazon.

Thanks. So I do need to have a receiver for every tv?
I hate to ask all these questions. I’m new to the whole 5th wheel setup. Had it for less than a week. Wanted to try and work the TV hookup in my driveway before we headed out on the road.
I need to look through CAGs info also.

Tigerpa,

We have a 2020 Pinnacle KPTS and we use DirecTV. Click on the link below and look at post #10 to see how I set up our unit. We have DirecTV at home and just bring our Genie for the living room and a Genie mini for the bedroom. If we want to watch the outside TV, we just move the mini from the bedroom.
