Satellite Install

Ok, I have a 2019 Eagle 355MBQS and want to install the direct tv. Winegard SK-SWM3 Traveler Slimline,

I need to know where to drill the hole to get the cables down to the storage bay where the out side connections are.

Want to mount the power system in the bay next to all the splitters.

Have a roof diagram from JAYCO but it is Greek to me.

Anyone know where to drill on the roof and pictures would be great.

Thanks
Grandude

Can’t you run the cables down with the wires for the factory installed solar wires from the roof that go to the basement? Then you don’t need to make a new hole.

I have submitted questions in the past but I can not figure out where to do that again.?? We have the Winegard Traveler and we have been having to stow and power up again to get a good signal after strong winds. I went up on the roof yesterday and we do have some play in the dish itself and on the turret. Do you know if this is normal or is something wearing out inside? And also where do I go to submit questions? Thank you!!

If your tank vent pipes end up behind the wall in the basement, then run the wire inside that, then drill a hole in the side of the pipe and pull out the wire…caulk up the hole after

Or if you have have the RV fridge then run it down that and make your way over to where you want it.

Edit…. I see now this is an old post
