Connect sat dish to the auxiliary port in the docking station and connect receiver to bed room TV and to the sat port in the bedroom. If they wired it correctly, it should work.

My Eagle had the auxiliary and sat ports swapped on mine. I fixed it myself.

If you are using a Dish Tailgater or something similar they don't like the RV wiring. Mine kept acting crazy when I ran it through the docking station. Finally ended up cutting the coax cable that ran to the TV in the living room and just hook directly to it outside. It works fine now.

It all depends on who's doing the wiring on any particular day and their eyesight!

Do you have any pics by any chance? I was thinking if I take the cable behind the tv and find the one for the Sat and disconnect it and plug it directly into that cable behind the tv. If this work I will keep the cable that coming out behind the tv and make a separate hookup for it.

My bedroom work good but when I hook up the one in my living area in about 15 minutes or so I lose the signal.

No issues with my automatic portable dish using the factory coax. Only things I did was replaced all the worthless crimp on connectors with compression connectors and swapped the sat and aux connections in the docking station as they were reversed from the factory.

This is the wiring harness under my kitchen slide. The cables for the tv are color coded. I took off the outlet cover behind my living room tv to see which color the cable for the satellite cable was and then cut it at the wiring harnesses. Then I just crimped a connector on it with an adapter. Made my tailgater work much better.
