Schwintek slide motors

We have a 2016 fbts pinnacle ,have had some small issues with our big kitchen slide, last thing dealer found we had a loose ground on the battery, doing some reading and see that there are 3.0 and 5.0 motors . Have seen in the blogs some people have had issues and dealer replaced 3.0 motors with 5.0 ratio motor and seemed to have solved the issue. Would like to hear from anyone who did this and is it better

Our 16 Eagle master bed slide coming in at an angle.Called Lippert put them on speaker for my cell phone. They walked me through reset, works like a charm. They did suggest never open those slides part way,and when they are fully retracted or extended hold button extra five seconds.Has something to do with syncing those motors.Happy Trails!

I believe they are 300:1 and 500:1 motors. The 500 are better for large and/or heavy slides.

We have the 500 motors on our kitchen slide and still have problems. Good luck.

My 383flfs North Point is at the dealer right now for this same slide out issue. Mine starts out square, but after about 3 inches of movement one motor stops while the other keeps running. After the slide cocks about 3inches the motor that stopped starts back up and finishes moving the slide. Then at the end of the stroke the above motor "catches up". Funny thing is, it's one side opening, the other side closing. This is on the heavy large kitchen slide with residential fridge

Hoppy...did you check for bent floor supports under that slide?
Once they bend you're sort of closing the slide uphill. They motors don't like that.
Also try it without auto leveling and try with leveling. Sometimes the leveling flexes the frame and binds the slide.

Jayco's official stance last year to a member here was do it which ever way works.

Didn't think to check the frame rails, but it has done this since the first trip out. (Didn't notice it during pdi but I think I probably just over looked it). As far as auto level, I have never opened the slides without the unit leveled, always the first thing I do, never thought about trying it not leveled, but that makes some sense. Hopefully after the dealer is done it's no longer an issue...... hopefully....

I picked mine up the day the driver dropped it at my dealer. They were already bent.
The more they bent, the worse the slide worked.

Sorry to hijack...

Loboclone, how long can you boondock with your solar setup and residential fridge?
Assuming there is good weather.
