Schwintek Control Module location?
I've got a 2018 27.5RLTS 5th wheel that's just out of warranty. The kitchen slide was giving me a problem under warranty and the dealer did fix it, but now the problem is back, only worse. When I start to run the slide out, both sides will start moving, but then the forward side stops, then restarts. Of course now the slide is cocked and when the back side gets all the way out, the front side has to catch up. When I put it back in, the rear side stops after about 10" and it needs some help to restart. I've tried the procedure to re-square the slide, both on the out stop and the retracted stop....no help and it never re-squares. I'm looking for the control modules so I can read the error code and I can't find it for either Schwintek slide. Anybody have any idea where Jayco hid them?

In the basement storage. Mine are on the driver’s side front wall next to the ceiling. Just to the right of the Ground Control keypad.
Hope you get that solved!

We have a 2016 Jayco Designer 39RE. We found the 2 rear slide controllers under the credenza bottom shelf.

SB,
My F-250 6.0 also came from PowerStroke Specialists in Buford. I've had it 3.5 years and the motor has been faultless.

My controllers are NOT in the basement. I also pulled the cover to the plumbing area that contains the water pump and they weren't in there. Also pulled the switch panel where you operate the slides, the water heater and pump, etc. Nothing behind it except for wires. The wires from the slide switches go into the wall between the kitchen sink and the bathroom. My Grandson noticed that the bottom section of the cabinet above the kitchen sink wasn't as deep as the 2 sections above it, so we pulled the panel. The only thing back there is the control board for all jacks, and also some fuses for the slides. There isn't any LEDs that come on when the slide is operated OR any pushbutton to go to the mode that allows you run the slides in when you have a fault. This board doesn't look like any of the pictures I've see of Swinteck slide controllers. Also checked the front hatch. I'm running out of places to look.

KA9J, although I no longer have it, my 2017 27.5RKDS slide controller was in the basement behind the battery cut-off switch. You have to remove a portion of the wall to get to it.

Schwintek controllers
Triplebval,
Thank you! I took my cell phone and reached it in the top of the compartment and I can see one of the controllers. I suspect that both are there, just didn't have the camera pointed correctly to see them both. This morning we're packing up and heading south home. I'll help the kitchen slide in and then leave it in for the rest of the trip. I'll work on it at home. Thanks again for that information.

Schwintek control modules
We got home last night and today I did pull the panel that holds the battery switch off and yes, both modules are there. Thanks again Triplebvap. I also watched the Lippert video on how to lubricate these slides. Like others here, I'd read the owner's manual and saw where it said that these slides needed no lubrication. I've ordered the CRC w/PTFE lubricant and when it arrives I will lubricate both Schwintek slides and see what happens then.

I have the same trailer, same problem. On the controller there is a grey button that is recessed. Push and release it six times and on the seventh time hold until the light starts to flash and release. This resets the controller and syncs the motors. Worked for us this past weekend. This was on a video on YouTube from Lippert.

CRC Power Lube w/PTFE lubricant
I lubricated my large kitchen slide with CRC Power Lube w/PTFE lubricant as shown in the Lippert video, and it worked!!! Now both sides start moving at the same time, and both get to the end of travel at the same time. The slide sounds much less strained when it moves. I also lubed the small bedroom slide, but that wasn't causing a problem.
CRC Power Lube w/PTFE is available from many places online, but I bought mine from Zoro
