Sealent removal over decals

Hi everyone,
I'm going to replace the sealant at the joints where the front cap meets the sidewalls, but there are decals that wrap around from the sidewalls to the front cap and the sealant overlaps the decals at the joints. How do you remove the sealant without damaging the decals?

My decals started to lift under the sealant. I therefore removed a 1/4” width of decal under the sealant before resealing. The “gap” in the decal is not noticeable and the seal is now more reliable.

I’ve done the same thing. My initial thought was function over appearance. But it actually wasn’t noticeable from a couple feet away.

In all my years of camping I’ve never run across a decal inspector so you should be just fine. But I have been asked if my trailer is over 10 years old.

Thanks all for the replies. Ill be trimming the decals back in the the areas of the sealant.
