Welcome to the JOF and congratulations on the new truck.

I'm sure you'll hear soon from members that have similar truck/trailer that can shed some light on your question.

Welcome!

If I understand correctly you went from 7" to 3" clearance.
I can't speak from experience but I know you are waiting for some comments. For me, that's going to be close. The Reese 16k (30047) hitch has some vertical adjustment but that depends on where your at now.

Depending on the height of the box vs your hitch I believe you'll either be nose high or lose clearance. I have a 2010 Ramsey and had to put a subframe under my 27.5bhs. You'll see it in this thread.http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f6...ght-18663.html
