Several Questions from Newbie

1- after you have leveled your trailer on a permanent seasonal site,
( concrete)should there be any weight on the wheels or should they turn freely?
2- living room vent fan- Fantastic? Wall mount buttons. Are all of these rain sensing? No book or manual. My guess is you should be able to set a thermostat value for it to open and run when it gets above set value? I see it has a “raindrop” sticker on it. ( 2015 Premier 39REQ)

The level system should level the RV but not jack it off of the ground. No your wheels should not be free spinning. If they are, too much weight on the level system and it can be damaged.

Without knowing what Fantastic system you have it is difficult to tell you how it operates. Try Google with the make and model to find the manual and then print it out for future reference.

I assume your fan control looks like the first picture. It doesn’t have any thermostat feature, but it should have the rain sense.
You could go on the roof with the fan lid open and look on the front right side, there will be a gold sensor strip that senses water.

The second picture has the thermostat feature.
My 2016 kitchen fan didn’t have the thermostat model. You can buy an upgrade kit from Fantastic. Take out the fan section in the vent and replace it with the thermostat model.

Then I took the fan section of the kitchen and put it in the bathroom vent so the bathroom would have multi speed and rain sense.
Had the run the wire for the old wall control across and down the bathroom wall. Wasn’t easy, but doable

Klassic,
Yes that’s the one top pic. Will follow your test. Also, when I push the top button, the fan automatically opens full opening and the fan starts. I have no green light telling me sensor is on and the up and down buttons. Don’t seem to change anything. Thanks

The sensor is always on. You have to push and hold a series of buttons to shut it off. I forget, I’ve never shut it off.
The up down button just opens/closes the vent from the closed position when the fan is off. It’s just a regular fanless vent then.

The thermostat control works well. When the temp drops close to the setting the fan is silently spinning, then the fan will stop and the vent will just be open.
But when it closes from the rain, then you have to turn it back on and reset the temp. It’s sensitive enough moist dewy air will close it.

Wow, that would be awesome if I can figure it out. Thanks for the tips.
