I use a rubbermaid tote with a latching lid to keep all my sewer hoses and supplies in. No smell, keeps everything organized. Storage in the front compartment with another tote with some easy tools.
Since I haven’t found a tubular storage container that allows the angled inlet and outlet to remain attached to the hose, I store them in a plastic bin in the basement.
I close one end with this flushing cap, flush the hose, then turn off the valve (water tight) and then close the other end with this flexible cap. 100% leak free and I don’t have to keep disassembling and reassembling the hoses, and my other related sewer items can live in that same bin.
You could use PVC pipe, and some screw on end caps, an 8” piece should allow you to keep your 90’s on. PVC would be more durable than the fence post tubes...

I just ordered a 2020 TT and it also has no rear bumper and I really don't want the hose in the storage compartment either!

I used 8 inch PVC and a section of plastic rain gutter inside to slide out. Plenty of room for elbows.
If I remember correctly I got the end caps from Amazon. It is lockable also. It;s what contractors use for conduit storage on a roof mount of a service van.
It's mounted in front of the wheels next to the dump connection which makes it convenient.
