Sewer dump on the opposite side

We have been living in our fiver for over 7 months waiting for our new house to be built. It's getting close and the neighbors across the street from us offered to let us park the RV there the last couple weeks it will take to get finished so we don't have to pay another months rent at the park.

Anyway, the sewer dump at their house is on the wrong side which never bothered them because they don't have an RV. So, I will need to route the slinky under the fiver. I didn't want to put it in a "U" bend for fear of it getting a leak. Right now I have a clear adapter along with a 45 degree clear adapter Anyone ever had to do this? Suggestions appreciated.

Yes we did, at a lot we owned. The septic tank could only go in one location, so we had to use a long slinky to reach the pipe on the opposite side and to the rear. Even with two gray tanks and a black, we made it work fine for 10 years,

I've had my sewer connection on the opposite side many a time. We have a couple of favorite sites in Upstate NY that allow awning to awning set up, which we do with my buddy probably 4 times a season. I've also been to a couple sites where the hookups are on the door side. Why? No idea.

Anyways, I've never had a problem hooking up on the door side. I do carry extra lengths of water hose, sewer hose and extension cable.

I only leave the sewer hose hooked up long enough to dump, mostly to avoid the trip hazard.

Great, thanks. The big drawback is the main valve comes out opposite our entry door and will put the hose in a tight u-turn since the dump is about 6 feet across from the steps. I have a couple of extra ten footers I can use to route it away from the steps if need be. Oh well, hopefully its only for a couple of weeks.

The extra length of hose will be good to take the strain off. Better too long than too short.
