Sewer flush port

Our sewer flush port is no longer working. When I connect the water supply to it and turn on the water, it spews it back out. How in the world could this port get clogged up?

I'll be interested in the reply to this too. Same problem just came up on our 2017 Pinnacle FBTS.

Tadam - Are you getting burping/bubbling from the toilet also? I am wondering if my vent stack for this black tank is possibly blocked which might account for both these symptoms.

Mine clogged up two different times. The first time I used half a box of TSP disolved in a couple of buckets of hot water, then filled the tank 3/4 full and drove a few hundred miles. That did the trick. It hadn't been working for a few months. The second time I used dishwasher detergent, which also worked.

The vacuum breaker check valve may be stuck.

I had one do that before. Turned out the dissolved tp had worked its way into the jets and formed a plug. Pulled the whole jet assembly and cleaned. All good after that. Only happened once.

If the vacuum breaker check is stuck in the wrong position, you'd have a flood inside your rv. I get rid of them and use an inline external one. Have for years, due to every stock one I had leaked under a cabinet or in a wall.

I am not getting any burping/bubbling from the toilet.

Just another check item on the list for things to fix while it's under warranty.
