Sewer hose attachments

Looking for some simple solutions. I want to add a clear 90 deg. elbow to my black water hose. Now it won't fit in the bumper storage , any ideas from those who have faced this problem ?

Yup Same here. I have a black tank tote that I keep 45 and 90 elbows. Also donut ring and black tank flush hose. gloves and hand sanitizer are in there too.

I've always packed a large plastic bin just for sewer stuff. Black tank wash hose, gloves, Slunky hose support, clear elbow (would never be without one), sewer hose weight and misc fittings. That war there's no chance of cross contamination with other hisses and water fittings.
Bins are cheap and a great way to organize the basement of the 5er.

I bought a Ziplock bin from Walmart that I keep all my "black" water hook up items in. When we get back, I leave the bin open in the back yard to air out and get rid of any water that might still be there. Has worked great for the last 3 years!

2 hoses in the bumper and the rest in a 18 gallon Tuff Tote. I fill the Tuff Tote with bleach treated water 2-3 x's a year and soak all the parts to keep it a little cleaner.

I use a 45* clear elbow. JMHO, but I think it provides less flow resistance, a better angle to most hook-ups, and it stores inside the bumper (male end first, once I remove it from the hose). I use a "shoe box" sized plastic tote for my 90* sewer-end connection, my donut, an extra hose/hose connector, and a couple of other sewer-related odds & ends. I keep a box of 100 disposable latex gloves and a can of sanitary wipes in the back door bin of my truck.

Put a 5" fence post under your trailer. All will fit inside. Mount it near your dump valves. Makes dumping fun again.

LOL, yeah there's not much fun about dumping tanks. I guess the word would be easier. Having the sewer hose stored right next to the dump drain makes it much easier than walking back and forth to the bumper or packing it up in a storage tote. I drilled some holes on the bottom of the fence post so there's never any standing water inside. I have a two Rhino hoses in there along with a 90* end.

I have had one since my rig was new near the back. I am getting to old to have to crawl under the open slides to access the doors, one on each end.

I plan to move it to a location that I can reach without crawling. I'll post pics when it's done.

Thanks for the ideas. Here is one I saw on a trailer that did not have a bumper storage. A piece of abs sewer pipe was fixed to the top of the simple bumper at the back of the trailer. It looked like a 6" pipe with the two ends sealed with clean out fittings, seemed to work. Anyone using this?

U used to use something like this on my old TT. I haven't decided if I want to mount on my Eagle yet. I've been thinking about it, but not really sure as the bumper works. My bumper on my old TT seemed to be smaller and my hoses would not fit.
