SharkBite Plumbing Ftgs

Planning to change kitchen faucet to a residential faucet and eliminate the current connections that tend to leak.

Looking to cut the PEX and use Sharkbite ftgs. Anyone have any experience with these type fittings in an RV.

Had a dripping drain that was cut to close to the bottom to try using pex for the first time. Used a house brand shark bite shut off. Towed 4,000 miles before I traded it off.
Have also used them in house applications with no problem.

They work great for both home and RV use.

I used them to put shut offs on all plumbing lines in my 5er. Worked great.

Yes I have. I replaced both my bathroom and kitchen sinks with residentual stainless steel sinks and Delta faucets. Sharkbite fittings are the best.
Good luck in your mods and happy camping.

I have used PEX and sharkbite fitting extensively with no issues. I have been very impressed by their ease of use and durability. Have never had a leak when installing on new PEX. Only problem I have ever had was with an older PEX line that was not round anymore. Highly recommend the more expensive sharkbite fittings.

Watts makes a similar product in plastic. They work just as well, less weight hanging on the Pex lines and best of all less money.

I helped my dad replace the toilet in his '77 Jayco travel trailer. We used these same quick connect fittings from Menards. They worked great and were very easy to use.
