Shock absorber

Any body added shocks to their rv using the Lippert factory installed mounts ? Not the addon kit.
My 5er has the installed mounts but no one can/will give me an exact pn for the shock.
Etrailer THINKS the Lippert replacement will work but not etched in stone.Axles on bottom so about 11in between u-bolt bracket & frame bracket.
I was thinking about the Joyrider system & was making sure of axle diam. & noticed mounts.Jayco won't even give an answer.
I am not saying I need them, has the Mor-Ryde spring equalizer already, Ijust want them.

Sounds like a good idea to add shocks, but I would make sure they don't stiffen the characteristics of the trailer's suspension. I'm guessing, that by not adding shocks to the trailer, the springs can absorb more road bumps, while keeping items in your rig from bouncing all over. The stiffer the suspension, the more transferring of road shock up into your trailer. Just a thought.
