Question Shocks Yes or No?

I’m a newbie to this forum and a relatively new owner of a 2020 Pinnacle 32rlts fifth wheel. We’ve had it about a year and although not full time we travel a good bit. Trying to decide if installing the shock system is worth it. Anybody have any thoughts or experience with them? Thanks!

Shocks Yes or No?

I installed shocks on my current FW and my previous TT.
Shocks would show the most improvement on a trailer pushing their spring capacity since shocks work when there is large displacements in a short amount of time (acceleration).
With both my units, I had twice the spring capacity required for the trailers. Therefore, I only feel an improvement over very rough roads and rail track crossings.
If your trailer seems to compress the springs a lot without shocks often on reasonable road conditions, then shocks are going to show a noticeable improvement.

BTW: my TT had the Lippert shocks. My current FW has the Road Master Comfort shocks. Road Master’s shock system is a much more refined shock system and worth the extra $ IMO.

I added shocks to my Pinnacle.

A few months ago, had to make an emergency maneuver at 70MPH. I believe the shocks helped prevent a roll over.

Fabricated my own setup.

I also added X Factor bars.

Thanks so much. I’m going to look into them. Some of these rough roads are killers!

This next week I'm installing shocks too, waiting on the brown truck. You might also want to confirm your tires are balanced. Mine were not. I want the smoothest ride possible.

I just put a set on my 27RS. I am very happy with the improvement I noticed on rough roads. To me, it was well worth the money.

I say go for it! I am. What's it going to hurt? 😉

Here is a video from Lippert about the shocks: https://videos.etrailer.com/static/i...-LC283280.webm

https://www.etrailer.com/question-519992.html

eTrailer sent me email said 'out of stock, maybe next week'. This is the 3rd attempt to purchase. I'll just continue to wait for the brown truck.

Once they arrive should be pretty easy to install.

I suggest skipping the Lippert shocks and go for the Road Master. The RM is a much better system based on my experience with both.

What he said ^^^^^^ Road Master are far superior to any other shocks.

Thanks for the advice, I've now cancelled this order too.

Next stop, Road Master vendor.
This what you suggest?

What axle diameter do you have?

Go to the Road Master website for their selection guide.

Roadmaster shocks made a night and day difference on my 377. Top 5 mod for me.
