Shout out to Jayco customer service

We bought a 2020 317RLOK in August. Our unit had the optional 2nd awning and 2nd light on the dinette slide. One control did not connect to the optional slide or light. I contacted Jayco customer service and Garrett agreed that the optional light and awning should be connected to one control. Our unit shipped with a 5 position receiver so there were no more slots available to connect the second awning and light. Jayco paid for an 8 position receiver and a dimmable light module so I can control the awning and light. Since I am so far from my dealer they reimbursed me for the equipment, almost $900, and I installed it myself. They would have paid the dealer to install the equipment if I would have taken it to them. To me, this is what outstanding customer service looks like.
It seems that the factory should spec out the one control components after the optional equipment is specified. It doesn't make sense that it would ship from the factory and only some of the lights and awnings are controlled with one control.

I as well have been extremely happy with Jayco’s customer service. They provided great service for me that involved them picking up my trailer in Houston, TX to take back to the mothership for repairs. They even did this not once but twice at there expense. Did great working on the repairs as well, I could not have asked for more!
