Shower Drain ?

We have a 2019 Pinnacle. When we take a shower the water does not go down the drain fast enough. The water gets almost deep enough to overflow onto the floor. Then it takes almost 10 minutes for it to drain out empty. Can anyone tell me how to get this to drain faster ? Thanks...CJ

It's probably plugged with construction debris. Can try snaking it. May have to take it apart to fix. Also it could be partly blocked by excessive glue.

Did it just start or always that way? Did you remove the screen to see if there is anything visible?

I think it drained a little better when we first got it about a year ago. Does the floor drain cap just pull out of the drain ?

Pops out just like a house shower drain

Is there any type of check valve in the drain. If I use a small snake do I have to worry about damaging anything in the line ? I thought I read somewhere there is a flapper type valve in the line someplace, to keep odors coming back from the tank.

Dreading the same thing I made sure we had these before we used the shower too much...works good with the hair... fits drain snuggly, but I'm sure there are other products that do the same...these were cheap...learned the hard way with our house drains...
