shower faucet is junk.

Shower faucet is junk. Jayco understands this issue but will not send out a recall. I want to replace it with individual hot/cold water control type. What have you used and do you have pics?

I installed a mixer bar in my 2017 Eagle 293RKDS. Best mod I ever done. Set the temp and no matter the pressure or the pump cycling the temp stays the same. Also has a water saver setting. Also installed the oxygenics fury.

Fyi, recalls are only issued for safety concerns and done through or forced by the NHTSA

I just ordered a 2 handle unit and it was a quick replacement. Showers don't like single handle faucets.

Ours came with a two handled faucet. Water pressure was horrible bad. Here's what we did...

Remove the flow restrictor from the body of the faucet base where the shower handle screws in.
Replace shower handle with Oxigenics Fury RV Shower (ordered on line since RV versions are not often in stores.
Added a screw-regulated water pressure regulator with guage, so that I could always know that I'm pushing enough water up to or a little past the 45lb suggested limit. https://tinyurl.com/yybbrfcs

We kept the original shower base and just used the oxigenecs shower handle. I had to file down the flutes in the tapered handle holder holster in the old unit in order for the handle to stay in without falling out.

Showers are much nicer now!
