Sleep Number RV question

I have read several posts from folks who replaced the factory mattress with a RV Sleep Number mattress. I am thinking about doing the same, but when I measure the Denver Mattress that came with mine, it measures the same 60x80 as what a traditional queen mattress does.
My question is what is the reason for buying the RV specific version for $1200-$1300 when you can buy one directly from Sleep Number for at least $200 less, or from Personal Comfort for about $600 less. Besides being available with radius corners, which my Denver doesn't have, is there something else I'm not thinking of?

Thanks,
Jr

They charge more for the rv version because of the features you mentioned.

If you don't need them, congratulations. You won the RV Sleep Number Bed game of chance!

I recommend you put the $200 towards the liquid refreshment of your choice.

If you don't currently have radius corners and don't need them then buy the cheaper one. I definitely recommend the Sleep Number bed. For me it is great and has been for over 3 years.

I have a king size sleep number and had to buy the RV version because it is 72X80 and most standard kings are 76x80. I have a standard sleep number king at home and everything is the same including the air pump and remote. I found mine at PPL motorhomes for $300 less than anywhere else. Since there is no difference in the queen size I would get it where you can find the best price.
