Slide button

I have a 1994 Jayco JSeries Fifth Wheel. The interior slide button doesn't do anything when pushed...I hear one click under the sink area but then nothing. I was told it was a $30 switch but not sure where this switch is located. Any ideas? Wish I had a diagram of the wiring, would help alot.

If you could give me a bit more info on the 5er you have, I can get you wiring diagrams. Just need the model..

Thanks! Model is 3050JaySeriesRK. Maybe that would help me find the relay switch.

The click you are hearing should be relay engaging under the sink. The other location would be in the front of the 5er, directly behind your tailgate by the batteries, or possibly in the large storage area, directly behind the front storage area. Jayco does not have the electrical diagrams on the site for this model. If you can wait until Monday, I can ask my techs if they have any ideas.

Yes, that would be helpful, thank you for your help. Other than this problem, I love my "classic" Jayco and prefer it to anything newer.

If the relay clicks I doubt it's the switch. Prolly the motor, wiring, control circuit (if there is one) or the relay.

Sooo.. after emailing, calling.. and waiting.. Chris from Jayco told me that due to the age of the camper, they no longer have the prints on file. I will grab a tech as soon as I can track one down.

That's disappointing! How much space would it take for them to store the prints for all the models they have produced? More like it he doesn't want to bother digging them out and getting you a copy!
