Slide issue

I unfortunately have the schwintek slide on my 317rlok. I’ve had the sync issues in the past. Went inside the trailer yesterday and went to put the slide out. Would only move about 2” out then stop. Would come back in but not out. It wasn’t out of sync either I don’t believe. I went to the controller and reset it and it worked fine multiple times. Went back out today and it was doing the same thing. Any ideas or thoughts?

I feel your pain. The DW operates our slides and I have watched and more so than not, if she stops at any time on the operation it will fault. I pull the LCI off the wall and reset buy unplugging wait 10sec and plugging it back in. It happens about one or twice a year and given that we are full timers and operate it 20-30 times I consider it a nuisance more than a problem.

It has a reset button on the front........does that not work for resetting it. Or does unplugging perform a "hard" reset?

I was told from Lippert to unplug. If necessary it will allow any update to the software operating system too. First time was sketchy but after the 2nd time it's an easy peasy thing. Additionally, we very rarely stop midcycle operations.

To unplug what? The motors from the controller or the touchscreen?

How can it receive updates if it's not connected to the internet?

After turning on my smart phone hot spot, my laptop identifies the "MyRV" (LCI), No I can not use it as internet usage (Is it Intranet?). Lippert says unplugging the LCI from the wall will allow "The system" to receive updates. It does work for me but to what extent? You'll have to ask Lippert. Sorry.
