Slide Out Awnings

I have a 2017 North Point 377RLBH
Want to add slide out awnings. Does anyone know what brand and model would be installed from the factory??
Are they difficult to install your self??
Pretty mechanically inclined.
Looks like factory awning rail is the same as the one already on unit as drip rail??
Any special installation tips if I were to install myself??
Thanks for any input

Those are a dealer addon. I had them added to my new Eagle 355MBQS. It’s a no brained to have them. Had them on my 2008 Eagle 314BHDS and never had issues.

The ones they put on mine were Colorado Carefree in Black.

Yeah. Wished I would have had them installed when purchased.
I like your carefree as that is what my 2 factory awnings are.

Not necessarily. At least when ordering new. With a used unit, they can pretty much install any type/model you want depending on how much you want to pay for them.

When we ordered our 2017 Jayco Eagle TT, the published option list did NOT include slide toppers as an option. However, I happened across another dealers website that showed the exact trailer we ordered with slide toppers on it and a picture of the factory invoice showing them on it. When I asked about it, either our salesman was ignorant about such things or more likely, was told to not bring up such things because the dealer will make a LOT more money off of you for doing them aftermarket.

Dealer had quoted us over 2000.00 for 3 toppers on our Eagle and the factory installed the same exact ones we wanted for 475.00!

Now, just know that the ones the factory may install are the basic versions with no weather/metal shields or such so if you want that, you will have to do the "dealer installed" option. And since each "line" (NP, Pinnacle, Eagle, etc.) have different product managers, the "pink sheet" items may differ among them.

Yup, got all for on our 2016 355MBQS from the factory. Pink sheet. $700 total....
Also, you get 2 years warranty vs 1 year dealer installed (if you get that much). And, that warranty is Jayco, not just through your local dealer, anyone can service if needed.

Funny because I talked with the Jayco Rep at the show and he said they would be a dealer option.

My 2008 came with them installed from factory and was why the conversation came up with the rep.

On our 2018 Eagle HT ours were a factory option. So far I really like them because they are keeping crud off the slides.

Always ask what the pink sheet items are when ordering. You’d be surprised what they’ll do that’s not on the list. Deleted skylights, black flush, upgraded stuff, awnings etc.
