slide out lights won't work

I was just hoping someone could give me some secrets/tips about my slide out lights. I have a 2001 Jayco 5th wheel and a couple weeks ago the small side light in the slide out flashed and went out. I tried to put new lights in but nothing worked. I then tried to turn on the overhead light and they both were not working. Checked the fuse box, nothing was tripped and all the other lights were working. I did flip the breaker just to check and the lights on the slide out still do not work. The outlets on the slide out do still work. Any clues?

Welcome to JOF. We are glad you joined us.

We have moved your post to the Fifth Wheels forum in hopes that one of our members will be along soon to help with your question.

The model number of your fifth wheel would be helpful to them.

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not familiar with your trailer.

Are you talking about 12volt (DC) lights or 120volt (AC) lights? How long have you had the trailer? Are you connected to 'shore' power? Have you checked your battery voltage?

The above info should help others help you.

Sounds like you need to start over in what you are checking. I believe you will find the lights that are not working are 12 volt lights that run off your battery or convertor if plugged in to shore power. The breakers in your box are for 120 volt circuits only. You need to see if you can identify which 12 volt fuse feeds the slide out lights. If they are not marked you may have to pull each fuse and check if it is blown. They should be in a row in the same box with the 120 volt breakers.

Thumbs up thanks

That makes sense, now to find the fuses, didn't see them when I was checking.
