slide out stuck HELP PLEASE

Hi ... I am at a campgound and my slide out wont open / close. The motor runs for a second, then stops. I hit retract for a second, then extend and it goes for another second. This back and forth.

AND the rear of the slide is not moving at all. So its crooked. I dont want to keep doing the retract / extend / retract / extend because of the rear of the slide not moving.

I am trying to determine how to manually open it -- I just need to get it opened for a few minutes to get the food out of the fridge and put in the outside fridge. I dont need it to stay open -- just need to get the food out. I am a single lady out here and am fairly mechanical but this one has me stuck (pun intended). I can not find where to manually crank it.

Anyway, any suggestions??

There should be a manual override to your slide. Perhaps one of the manuals would explain how to do it. It's been discussed on the forum before. although it's not the same RV as yours.

Your best bet is probably to call an RV mobile service. Check with campground where you are and find out who to call, they should know who is good or not.

I have had this problem
We brought our trailer back to the factory to get fixed.
Learned a lot from that experience!
Look for the controller. Likely mounted on ceiling in basement on drivers side. Mounted with two screws. If you have a bedroom slide both controllers will be side by side. Remove mounting screws so you can see the switch and lights. Just let hang on wires.
On the controller are instructions to up the motor current. There is no reset per say. It's press the button 6 times hold on 7th until lights change.
Then try slide.
Also a hint from a tech
"Cycle slide out switch on/off as the slide moves in as you hear the motors load up.
You must run the swinteck slides all the way in or out. No stopping part way.
Hold the switch for 10 seconds once fully open or closed. This resync's the motors

There is a process to resync the motors if slide is crooked.
Google Lippert slide sync process

Lippert Scouts Facebook

There is a forum called Lippert Scouts on Facebook and I would post the question there? Is the controller doing anything and do you have enough voltage for the slides?

This worked for me

So I was feeling about as bad as can be. My slide would go in about 1" and "get stuck". I tried this solution. It seems like it's doing nothing. But, it worked and I am now feeling incredibly relieved.

Thanks @roadrunnerII - you rock.

Do you mind explaining the cycle switch bit? since you don't want to stop once slide starts moving?
