slide problem

Just bought a used 1995 jayco eagle 263rk and my slide pulls in tight at the bottom but is out an inch or so at top. Anyone know how to adjust?

You may need a slide lock to hold the top in. Here is some info that may help.

I'm not sure a slide lock would do much good if the top doesn't come in all the way right now. I would suggest you might need to adjust it so it will come in all the way and then purchase a slide lock. To answer your question, I don't know how to adjust but someone will come along here pretty quick that does know how and will give you some help.

I know this thread is almost two years old. I'm wondering if you were able to figure it out? My wife will be looking at a 1997 model this week.

Someone who knows how to make that adjustment could fix it in a few minutes but we will never know.
