Slide Problems with 2011 Pinnacle

The big slide (16') on my 2011 Pinnacle does not retract properly. It goes out fine, but when I want to bring it in, it comes in about 2" and then stops. It seems to be catching on something. I have jacked up the slide from the outside about 2" and looked underneath but can't see anything that it's hanging up on. I have found 3 ways to get it in: 1) have two strong guys lift and push from the outside when I bring it it, 2) remove all the weight from the inside of the slide (except the frig!), and 3) jack up the slide a little as I bring it in. In all 3 cases, I hear a "clunk" or "click" when it gets to that "about 2" point" and then it comes on in smoothly.
I've checked my batteries and the voltage at the slide motor and they are good.
Has anyone else has a similar problem? I'd like to hear some ideas on what might be the problem. Larry

Have you ever cleaned the bottom where the slide travels over then inside ledge of the floor? We bring ours in about 4-6 in. run a clean cloth with some silicone spray on it across the entire bottom trough and on top, lift the carpet, vacuum and wipe it there also. We do that several times a year, along with spraying the seals. It really helps reduce the drag on the motors.

I have the same problem with my 2016 fbts . The dealer told me that the bulb seal was binding the slide causing the motor to amp out . They removed the seal to order new and it worked once after leaving the shop . It has steadily gotten worse and i am waiting on my second appointment. To get in again . It now has started not wanting to go out either . After coming from a 5er with hydraulic slides . I am totally disgusted at this design . Every time you go its a crap shoot if your going to have trouble getting your side in and out .
