Slide Stops Often When Retracting 365BHS

2013 365BHS still under warranty but I'm not near a dealer.
The main sofa dining slide stops when retracting. It can be cold or hot out and it will still do this.
I have to release the "in" button and then push it again to get it all the way in.
I don't know if it's the motor or a wiring connection or where to start.
My unit has a remote control but this issue is with the hard wired button, I don't use the remote.
Anyone else experience this?
I worry that one time it will be stuck part way.

Try it with the remote to see if it performs the same. On my Eagle 284BHS there is a circuit breaker on the back side of the switch. Look at yours and make sure it has good connections. On a few occasions, the breaker opened, but continued after a few seconds. Even thought you do not use it, give the remote a try. Are you plugged into shore power or opperating off of batteries only?

I would call the dealer where you purchased and ask the service dept.

Personally haven't had that issue.

Thanks for the suggestions. I used the remote and the slide operated properly. I then used the wall switch and it also operated properly.
I checked the connections on the switch and they are tight, no circuit breakers or fuses behind the switch.
The problem only occurs occasionally, not every time. I guess my next step is to locate the relays for the remote control to check the connections there and crawl under the trailer and check the connections on the motor.
I was also wondering if the slide is jamming when retracting and overloading the motor. It is not making the clicking noise it makes when fully extended or retracted.

It's not the motor, but the load on the motor drawing too many amps. On a hot day it may pop sooner than on a cooler day as they are heat sensitive. My 2011 would do the same thing then I would give it a few seconds and it would reset. I would rather the circuit breaker be working properly than the motor getting overloaded. I responded in another thread to check it outside while listening. You can hear the circuit breaker trip on the outside, but not the inside.

My last trailer had issues with the slide having difficulties retracting. It seemed that it was working very hard. I used dry slide out lube on the rams and that solved the problem.

Both of my opposing slides on my Jayco 351 RLSA had issues, I eventually had to have both motors replaced, under warranty. The original motors are made in china, not sure what they used for a replacement.
