Slide supports?

We take delivery of our new North Point 381 DLQS on Thursday after the PDI. I'm sure this has been discussed, but is it a wise thing to use slide supports under the large living area slides? Especially the kitchen slide with the residential refrigerator? Seems like a lot of weight to support and I've seen several post of having slide issues with the larger slides on some Jayco fifth wheels. Just trying to avoid issues if possible.

Only time I ever see slide supports being used is under a really old RV. IMO it's a no no. If for what ever reason the RV settles some then the slide will be racked.

My owners manual specifically states not to use them.

Not needed. Would cause more harm than anything.

What's interesting is my Jayco dealer's service adviser of 6 yrs (now Finance Manager) recommended using slide supports, however, my manual states no as well. Hmmm...
