Slide Topper??

I just purchased a used 2018 Eagle 355 MBQS. I’d like to add slide toppers and am wondering if I can do this myself? Can someone tell me what these rails over each slide are? Are these just drip rails of something to be used for a slide topper?

Thanks in advance.

Anthony

They look like drip rails to divert water off the slide. You would need to remove them and add the awning rail in that location. I looked at installing the toppers myself but it is at a min a 2 person job standing on ladders. It is worth the money to have them installed.
