Slide toppers on Eagle HT 28.5RSTS

Does anyone on the forum have toppers on a 28.5RSTS? I have seen conflicting stories on exactly where to mount them on other models. Some below the flange, others on it. It seems the Schwintec slides have wider 6" flanges, whereas standard slides have the narrower 4 1/2" flanges. At least ours does.

I have an email in to Jayco, but have yet to hear back. Thanks for any help.

edit: I just noticed yours is a different model than mine. Really looking for those with a 28.5rsts.

No worries, I found another like mine and the same year 2017, they are also mounted below all the flanges. Yet I found a 2018 with them mounted on the flanges........go figure.

I would also try calling your dealer and asking them. As I already stated, all 2019 and 20 are mounted to the flange. Jayco may have changed the design on the new models, that is why you now see all the solera brackets leaving the factory mounted on the flange. If someone has a 19 that has the bracket mounted to the side wall, they better check the screws and see if they loose before the warranty runs out. My warranty bill was about 2K to repair the damage.

There do appear to be numerous variations on Jayco models, and even the same models of different years. I would wait for Jayco to respond, hopefully they will tell you what, if any blocking is in the slide walls. I have heard of some cases where Jayco says toppers cannot be installed because there is NO blocking.
Maybe that's why the newer 2020 models have "slide cover prep" standard. My 2020 HT was built the first week the 2020 model production of my model started, and it does NOT have the blocking or prep.

I may have already mentioned it, but I contacted them about a week ago making sure there are backers. They said since toppers were available as an option on my year/model, it would have backers. I didn't think to ask where, but did a couple days ago.
