It's going to depend on which 5th Wheel you're purchasing. The Jayco HT series has the pin box out in front of the nose cap about 6" to 8", which helps tremendously with tighter turning radius. We have a B&W with manual slide, but have yet to use it. The only time we will ever need to use the slide feature is when we have to back our rig into a spot that requires the truck to be in the jack knife position. And, we don't anticipate doing that, at least in the States.

Just wanted to know if they are easy to use etc, can't have a auto model as we are restricted to a certain weight?
