Slim-Rack problem

I've developed a problem with my large slim-rack slide. When extending and retracting, the slide abruptly stops at the same place. Motor does not strain, just stops. After a few seconds, pressing the switch again allow the slide to continue. Seems more electrical than mechanical otherwise motor would strain (more than normal). But why is it able to start up again? I've checked for obstructions under the slide floor where the rollers are, and the racks. Stops same place, every time going in or out. Any help will be appreciated.

BTW, where is the controller for the Slim-Rack slide on the Northpoint 377?

I sounds like you might need to reset the SlimRack. I used the Slide-Out Box Reset Procedure before. https://support.lci1.com/slide-outs-support-slimrack.

There is also a re-sync process - for the Schwintek system if you ever need it.

The controllers for my NP are located in the basement on the ceiling. They are positioned in order of the rooms with the two Schwintek slides (bedroom and bunk/office) then the kitchen (SlimRack) controller. You can tell the SlimRack controller because the power connection is different from the Schwinteks.

Hope that helps

Go with the information in the Slim Rack Installation manual for setting the extend and retract stop points. It's on pa,ge 10. Also check to see if there are any error codes that might be present.

Thank you very much for this reply. I was able to resynch my slide yesterday successfully. The slide now works as it should.
