Smallest 5th wheel

I'm getting kinda tired of towing a travel trailer.

I'm looking for the smallest, lightest 5th wheel I can find.

Anyone know of a model number that fits the above?

I prefer a USED, older model Jayco .

NO BH models

Thanks for your help.

I don’t know how far back the plan goes. And it’s not the lightest. But we love the layout of our eagle ht ckts. The ht line has some really nice functional plans that are not BH.

There’s an RLTS and RLS layouts that goes a few years further back that we considered. It comes in a few different sizes. All the way down to a 24.5 if I remember right. I think they also called them Eagle Super Lites for a few years.

We never wanted a BH either. But we wanted to have room for a couple grand kids sometimes. So we wanted a hide a bed. We also honed in on the center kitchen designs. It just seemed more functional when BBQ’ing and utilizing the campsite. So a center kitchen and rear living area is what we decided on. Rear kitchen just felt awkward. If you focus on the acronym RLS etc. it might help your search when looking at adds. Then you can use Grumpy’s link to check it out.

I think they go back 10 years in the archives.

I have Starcraft Telluride (part of Jayco) it's 29 feet 73xx pounds, model 251RES. We went from 29 foot TT last summer. Quite a change but much better road manners. We're happy with change.

23.5 rbs

I have a 2015 jayco eagle ht 23.5 rbs. I believe that is the smallest jayco. I tow my 14x7 cargo trailer behind 5th wheel.

I have a 2017 27.5 RLTS that I've been quite happy with. Haven't done any long (>5 days) trips with it yet however it has worked well for my wife and I so far.

We have an 2018 Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS. It's a perfect couples coach, with recliners and a dining table. We are selling it because we're moving up to a Class A. I think the floorplan would work great for you, it's light and a super easy tow. Set up is a breeze with the auto leveling system. Had 3 slides and plenty of storage!
